  1. INIT Files Definitions
  2.  
  3. Note: This data is captured by TattleTale INIT and reflects the files that were
  4.            actually executed by the INIT mechanism.  If the date and time noted in the
  5.            first line of the listing was prior to the last time the computer was started,
  6.            then TattleTale INIT was missing from the System/Extensions folder.  The
  7.            list only reflects those items which were executed after TattleTale INIT.

  9.                 This list is also generated if you elect not to run TattleINIT.  In that 
  10.            case, the System Heap Space Used and High Memory Used categories are
  11.            not present and the list is generated using the following rules.
  12.  
  13.            A file is executed by the INIT mechanism if the following conditions exist:
  14.                  - File Type = cdev, RDEV, or INIT
  15.                  - No INITs Flag of File = false
  16.                  - A Resource in the File = RDEV or INIT 
  17.   
  18.            [Text] = Item exists only under given circumstance
  19.  
  20.     NOTE: Data Captured - Date and time data was collected [TattleINIT]

  23. ‚Ä¢ Total High Memory Space Used = Total bytes taken by listed INIT‚Äôs in

  28. ‚Ä¢ Extension/INIT# = Order which this file was executed
  29.    ‚óä Extension/INIT Name = File name
  30.    ‚óä Version = Version number
  31.    ‚óä File Integrity =  Reports if file is damaged  [Registered +Checking On]
  32.    ‚óä Type = Finder Type of file
  33.    ‚óä Creator = Finder Creator of File
  34.    ‚óä Modified = Date/Time File was modified
  35.    ‚óä Requested System Heap Space = The number of bytes requested to be
  36.             available in the system heap by the sysz Resource.  If this amount is zero,
  37.             then the sysz resource was not present or was set to zero and the
  38.             minimum of 16K bytes was initially allocated 
  39.    ‚óä System Heap Space Used = The number of bytes of space that this
  40.             extension is currently taking up in your system heap.  This space is
  41.             unavailable to applications so if you are low on memory, you should look
  42.             here for memory eaters.  To regain the memory, simply remove the file
  43.             from the folder specified below  [TattleINIT]
  44.    ‚óä High Memory Used = The Number of bytes of memory that this extension is
  45.             using above application memory.  Look at this number along with the
  46.             System Heap Space to find memory eaters  [TattleINIT]
  47.    ‚óä Path Name = Location of File
  48.    ‚óä Files Used by (Extension Type) : List of files which were opened by the
  49.             extension [TattleINIT]
